Cenovus Energy Completes US$1.25B Debt Offering

Cenovus Energy Inc. completed a public offering in the United States of US$500 million of 10-year senior unsecured notes and US$750 million of 30-year senior unsecured notes. Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., RBS Securities Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC acted as joint book-running managers.

Cenovus Energy Inc. is a Canadian integrated oil company. Operations include oil sands projects in northern Alberta, established natural gas and oil production in Alberta and Saskatchewan and a 50 per cent ownership in two US refineries.
