CryptoLogic Trading on LSE

On September 15, 2003, CryptoLogic Inc.’s shares commenced trading on the LSE main market under the CRP symbol. CryptoLogic’s London listing complements its existing listings on the TSE and NASDAQ and its market capitalization at the time of listing was approximately $175 million.
CryptoLogic relied on a procedure adopted by the UK Listing Authority, equivalent of the provincial securities commissions, for companies that have filed annual reports (form 20-F) with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Under that procedure, extensive information already filed under 20-F can be incorporated in the company’s listing particulars. Canaccord Capital (Europe) Ltd. acted as sponsor and broker to CryptoLogic in connection with the admission.

CryptoLogic was represented in Canada by Robert Stikeman of Stikeman, Graham, Keeley & Spiegel LLP in Toronto; and in the UK by Berwin Leighton Paisner, with a team led by David Collins and Jonathan Lockyer.

Canaccord was represented by McCarthy Tétrault LLP in London and Toronto, with a team that included Robert Brant and Karl Tabbakh (Canadian and UK securities), Suzanne Senior-Mitchell (intellectual property and internet gaming) and James Channo.
