Digital Colony completes recapitalization of Beanfield Technologies

Digital Colony, the global digital infrastructure investment platform of Colony Capital, Inc., completed a recapitalization of one of its portfolio companies, Beanfield Technologies Inc., an independent telecommunications infrastructure provider.

The recapitalization included Beanfield raising an additional $148.5 million in financing through loans made under credit facilities arranged by affiliates of TD Securities (USA) LLC, Royal Bank of Canada and Truist Bank (collectively, the Joint Lead Arrangers).

In connection with the recapitalization, Beanfield also completed a tuck-in acquisition of the fibre business of another Digital Colony portfolio company, Aptum Technologies (formerly Cogeco Peer 1), a global hybrid cloud and managed services provider.
