Fulcrum Capital Partners Completes Management Buy-Out of HSBC Capital

Fulcrum Capital Partners acquired the mid-market mezzanine lending and private equity investment operations of HSBC Capital (Canada) Inc. from HSBC Bank Canada. Led by former employees of HSBC Capital, Fulcrum Capital Partners now manages over $700 million, with a focus on providing flexible private equity, mezzanine and bridge financing to entrepreneurial business in Canada. The management buy-out in Canada was completed in conjunction with HSBC's divestiture of private equity businesses in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Middle East.
