On January 13, 2016, Group Cabico Inc., the leading Canadian manufacturer of fine custom cabinetry, announced it has acquired The Elmwood Group Limited, a growing Ontario-based manufacturer of high-quality custom kitchen and bath cabinetry.
With sales in excess of $100,000,000, 600 employees and manufacturing facilities over 350,000 sq. ft. Cabico becomes the largest privately held custom cabinetry manufacturer in Canada, selling its products across the US and Canadian markets. The transaction value was undisclosed.
Cabico was represented by Marc Labrosse, General Counsel and Vice President, Corporate Development, assisted by a Bernier Beaudry Inc.
