National Bank of Canada Renews its US$5 Billion Euro Note Programme

National Bank of Canada renewed its US$5 billion Euro Note Programme on April 17, 2008. The co-arrangers were Barclays Bank PLC and National Bank Financial Inc., and the other dealers for the Programme were BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, HSBC Bank plc, J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd., Merrill Lynch International and UBS Limited.

The dealers were represented by Ogilvy Renault LLP, with a team including Peter Noble and Susan Mann, and Adrienne Oliver and Janice Vohrah (tax). National Bank of Canada was represented by Dominic Paradis and Mélanie Viguié-Bilodeau of the Legal Affairs department of National Bank of Canada, and by Daniel Bénay, Frédéric Cotnoir, Marc G.
