Nexfor Completes Note Offering

On July 2, 2002, Toronto-based Nexfor Inc. completed an offering of US$250 million principal amount of 7.25 per cent notes due July 1, 2012 in the U.S. under the Canada/U.S. multijurisdictional disclosure system. The syndicate of underwriters was led by Goldman, Sachs & Co., and included Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation, Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., UBS Warburg and Trilon International Inc.
