Potash Issues US$500M Notes Due 2017 and US$500M Notes Due 2040

On November 30, 2010, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (“PotashCorp”) issued US$500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.25 per cent notes due December 1, 2017 and US$500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.625 per cent notes due December 1, 2040.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman, Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets and Scotia Capital acted as joint book-running managers of the offering, while BMO Capital Markets, HSBC, Jefferies & Company, Rabo Securities, UBS Investment Bank, CIBC and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities acted as co-managers.
