Royal Bank Establishes $3B Note Program

Royal Bank of Canada established a $3 billion domestic Medium Term Note Program on June 8, 2001. The dealer syndicate for the program, led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc., includes BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., CIBC World Markets, Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., National Bank Financial and HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. Representing Royal Bank was in-house counsel Don Brown and Dawn Whittaker of Ogilvy Renault. Mihkel Voore, Maurice Swan and Stacey Nice of Stikeman Elliott acted on behalf of the dealers.
