Montreal-based SR Telecom Inc. completed its acquistion of the Velocity 2000 product line from Nera Telecommunications Inc., a subsidiary of Norway-based Nera ASA, for an undisclosed amount on April 4, 2002. The Velocity 2000 product line is a CDMA-based fixed wireless access solution for carrier grade voice and high-speed data networks.
