On February 26, 2026, Stay22, the Montreal-based content monetization platform, closed a US$122 million minority growth investment from Summit Partners. The funding will support Stay22's continued global expansion, product innovation, team growth, and ongoing investment in the infrastructure and partner ecosystem that connects content to commerce at scale. In connection with the closing, Summit Partners' Colin Mistele and Daniel Kim joined Stay22's board of directors. The Raine Group acted as exclusive financial advisor to Stay22.
Founded and headquartered in Montreal and led by chief executive officer and co-founder Andrew Lockhead, Stay22 operates an intelligent, data-driven technology platform that helps travel creators, media publishers, and event organizers convert booking intent into revenue. Powered by AI-driven decisioning, the platform analyzes real-time contextual and behavioural signals to route audiences to relevant online travel agencies, including Booking.com, Expedia Group, and Tripadvisor. Today, more than 5,500 creators use Stay22 to identify high-value affiliate opportunities, with partners ranging from independent creators such as Nomadic Matt, to large-scale publishers including Time Out and Lonely Planet, to global transportation groups like the Travelier Group. In 2025, Stay22 processed more than US$1 billion in annual transactions and expanded into the retail vertical, delivering US$80 million in gross merchandise value. Founded in 1984, Summit Partners has invested in more than 550 companies across technology, healthcare, and other growth sectors of the economy.
