TransCanada Power Completes $175M Bought Deal

TransCanada Power, LP completed a public offering of 5.66 million limited partnership units for aggregate proceeds of approximately $175 million on October 23, 2001. The proceeds are being used to repay outstanding bank indebtedness.

Kent Kufeldt, Scott Negraiff and Tim Haney of Macleod Dixon LLP acted for the underwriting syndicate led by BMO Nesbitt Burns, Inc., which included Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., TD Securities Inc., Scotia Capital, National Bank Financial Inc., FirstEnergy Capital Corp. and Raymond James Ltd.
