Nancy Choi is a partner who practises securities law. She represents both investment dealers and public companies in a variety of corporate finance transactions in the mining sector and in the cannabis industry, including public and private security offerings. In additional to transactional work, Nancy advises public companies on general corporate and securities laws matters, including continuous disclosure obligations, corporate governance and Canadian stock exchange listings. She is recognized as a leader in mining law by The Best Lawyers in Canada. Nancy received her JD from the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005. Nancy has also previously supported the firm as a member of the Student Committee and serves as an Articling Principal. She has also served as a member of the Women’s Professional Development Committee, which has responsibilities for supporting practice development for female lawyers. Outside of the firm, Nancy is a member of UNICEF’s 25th Team, a unique and innovative partnership comprised of 60 influential Canadian women who have joined together to fund and support international pilot programs to provide life-saving health services for the world’s most vulnerable women and children.
