Don has been a partner with Felesky Flynn LLP since 2000. He was co-managing partner from 2009 to 2016 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2014. Don’s practice covers a broad range of business and personal taxation matters. His areas of emphasis and experience include mergers & acquisitions, corporate tax planning, resource taxation, reorganizations of public and private corporations and other entities, estate planning, and dispute resolution with taxation authorities. Don has been a frequent speaker including at conferences of the Canadian Tax Foundation and as a speaker and lecturer for provincial law societies and bar associations on a wide variety of taxation topics. Don is a past chair (2011 to 2015) and a former member (2010 to 2016) of the Division Board of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (Alberta and NWT).
