Focuses on corporate governance, internal investigations, directors' and officers' liability, securities class actions, regulatory proceedings, shareholder disputes, complex commercial litigation, and stakeholder disputes in corporate restructuring and insolvency. Represents shareholders, boards of directors and entrepreneurs of private and public companies. Before joining Goodmans in 2007, he was a partner and senior litigator at a leading Toronto litigation boutique. Member of the OSC’s Securities Practice Advisory Committee. Received his LLM from Columbia University, was called to the New York Bar in 2006 and began practising with a leading US securities and class action firm. Teaches courses on corporate governance and M&A at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (Adjunct Faculty) and also in the MBA program at the Schulich School of Business (Executive in Residence). Teaches trial advocacy at the University of Notre Dame Law School.
