His practice focuses primarily on energy regulatory law, environmental law, First Nations relations, and water resource management. Formerly counsel to the NEB, he offers extensive experience with the federal and provincial regulatory approval process with emphasis on energy projects, environmental reviews, and Aboriginal rights issues. He represents clients before administrative tribunals and offers ongoing advice on regulatory issues to various resource industry clients, First Nations, and several industry associations in the energy, natural resource, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. He has acted on major environmental reviews on behalf of participants, and in other instances, on behalf of the project review panel. Past president of the National and British Columbia Administrative Law Sections of the CBA. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1984 and the British Columbia Bar in 1991.
