Paul Tushinski was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1985; University of Windsor – Dean’s Honour List. Paul is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation as conferred by The Law Society of Upper Canada. He is listed in both The Best Lawyers in Canada and Lexpert® as a Most Frequently Recommended practitioner in Litigation – Commercial Insurance and Personal Injury and Repeatedly Recommended in Litigation - Product Liability. He is at present the Tort Litigation contributor to the Toronto Law Journal. His practice is in the area of defence with emphasis on products liability, class proceedings, environmental claims, construction, complex insurance matters including coverage and property disputes, as well as general liability. He is the 2016 recipient of the Lee Samis award by CDL and the 2016 OTLA Award. He is the past president of the Toronto Lawyers Association, a founding member and past president of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association, and a past director of The Advocates’ Society. He is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, Canadian Bar Association, Medico-Legal Society, The Advocates’ Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers Association, and University Club of Toronto.
