Mr. De Lellis has significant experience in insolvency and restructuring with an emphasis on plans of arrangement under the CCAA and corporate statutes, complex corporate recapitalizations, BIA proposals and bankruptcies, receiverships, complex cross border matters, acquisitions, financings, governance matters, secured transactions and the enforcement of debtor and creditor rights. Michael has served as counsel to debtor corporations, lending syndicates, bondholders, equity sponsors, purchasers, governments and court officers. Michael has become known as a trusted advisor providing strategic advice on significant mandates. He is currently acting for FAAN Mortgage Administrators Inc., as Trustee, in connection with a mandate to take over the administration of the syndicated mortgage loan business conducted by Building & Development Mortgages Canada Inc. in respect of over 70 syndicated mortgage loans to borrowers on 44 real estate projects across Canada. Most recently, he has also taken a lead role in multiple complex mandates involving Jupiter Resources Inc., Concordia International Corp., Sears Canada Inc., and Essar Steel Algoma Inc. Michael is also active in the restructuring community and is a member of the Executive Board of the Turnaround Management Association.
