With over 20 years of experience, she is a highly accomplished employment lawyer, one of the country’s foremost experts in workplace investigations, and a trusted advisor to senior HR professionals. She is frequently called upon to advise or consult on complex, high-stakes issues pertaining to complaints of workplace harassment and other misconduct. Christine also develops Rubin Thomlinson’s extensive training curriculum, enabling employers to conduct effective workplace investigations themselves under increasing regulatory scrutiny. Christine is ranked as a leading practitioner by Lexpert® and was awarded the Lexpert Zenith award for her contribution to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. Christine is renowned for her seminal work on employment law, For Better or For Worse: A Practical Guide to Canadian Employment Law, co-authored with the late Mr. Justice Randall Scott Echlin, and currently in its third edition. She also co-authored the definitive textbook Human Resources Guide to Workplace Investigations, now in its second edition. Christine graduated from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Ottawa Law School and was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 1995.
