Sara Zborovski practises regulatory and commercial law for companies regulated by Health Canada (those in the pharmaceutical, cannabis, food & beverage, natural health product, medical device, cosmetics and tobacco industries), and has developed a deep understanding of the regulatory and business realities within which these industries operate. She assists clients in obtaining market access and in all areas of compliance. She assists in obtaining market authorizations and establishment licenses, developing SOPs and GMP/GPP strategies, drug pricing and formulary listing, fulfilling reporting obligations, product labelling, marketing and advertising, commercial agreements and compliance with privacy laws. She works with clients in matters relating to product safety, including crisis management and product recalls. She acts as counsel to a number of trade associations, sits on advisory boards, and speaks and writes about issues of importance to these industries. In her role as regulatory counsel, she regularly communicates with various branches of Health Canada and as a result, she has developed a deep understanding of the regulator's approach to many different situations involving market access, authorizations and licensing, product safety and advertising/marketing.
