Franklin Law

Franklin Law is made up of a diverse group of human rights, employment, and labour lawyers, and office administrators. All of us have made a conscious decision to help workers to fight injustice at work.

We fight injustice at work because we know about the discrimination, harassment, bullying, reprisal, and other mistreatment that workers put up with, the difficulties that workers face when they are mistreated by their employers or disenfranchised from their Unions, and the injustices that workers suffer when they are wrongfully, constructively, or unjustly dismissed, or deprived of equal treatment in, or full benefit of, their employment for reasons related to their identities.

Our lawyers include Ron Franklin, Saurabh Sharma, and Runako Gregg. Our Office Administrators include Hani Abdul Aziz and Marie Sotto. Our strength lies in our shared commitment to workers’ rights, access to justice, collaborative lawyering, and meeting workers where they are. We stand by workers, and support, advise, and represent them, when they are most vulnerable and most in need of legal assistance. In some cases, that may mean securing a legal victory. In other cases, that may mean helping workers to redefine success in a broken legal system that was never meant to provide them with justice or make them whole. In all cases, we take a restorative approach and prioritize the preservation of our clients’ dignity, self-esteem, self-respect, and self-worth.

Consistent with the Swahili phrase “Kwa watu”, we are a law firm for, and of, the people.
