Aaron Platt

Aaron Platt has practised real property law for nearly 20 years, with a focus on land use planning and development matters. He works closely with real estate counsel, urban planners, architects, and engineers to provide creative and strategic legal advice to residential and commercial developers, operators, school boards, and title insurers. Aaron’s early career included significant transactional experience, shaping a practice particularly well suited to matters at the intersection of real property and land use law. He also completed a secondment with the City of Toronto’s Planning and Administrative Tribunal Law Department and later practised at a boutique land use planning and real estate development firm before joining Loopstra Nixon LLP. Outside of his legal practice, Aaron serves on the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association’s Real Estate Section.
