Alexander Procope is a partner of Perez Procope Leinveer LLP (PBP Lawyers) in Toronto, where his practice is concentrated in guardianship, power of attorney and estate matters. He acts for guardians, attorneys for property and personal care, estate trustees, beneficiaries and litigation guardians. He also frequently represents allegedly incapable parties in capacity-related litigation. Alex offers mediation services in all areas of his practice and emphasizes the autonomy, protection and well-being of vulnerable parties. Alex received the Ontario Bar Association's Hoffstein Book Prize in 2022 and often speaks at professional development programs, including co-chairing the Law Society of Ontario’s Annotated Powers of Attorney Program. Among other teaching engagements, Alex was co-Director of the OsgoodePD Certificate of Elder Law Program and is a sessional instructor of Mental Health Law at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
