Andrea Lee is certified as a Specialist in Construction Law by the LSO and a Fellow of the CCCL. She was the 2020–2021 Chair of the OBA Construction and Infrastructure Law Section. Andrea obtained her B. Arch. at U of T and her LLB at Queen’s. Andrea represents owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals in complex litigation and arbitration matters involving liens, trusts, bonds, deficiencies, delays, and negligence. Andrea also advises clients with respect to construction contracts and design agreements under various project delivery methods. Andrea speaks at programs offered by legal and industry associations, published articles and papers on construction law and co-authored chapters focused on design professionals in Halsbury's Laws of Canada, Construction and Review of Construction Law: Recent Developments. Andrea is the co-editor and co-author of Critical Issues in the Canadian Law of Architects and Engineers and has co-edited Bidding and Tendering, What is the Law? (6th edition). Andrea teaches construction law at Queen's and at the Osgoode LLM program, and she is a skills instructor with TAS. Andrea is a member of the RAIC Practice Support Committee and mentors young professionals through the OBA’s program and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
