Andrew is a corporate and securities lawyer with extensive experience advising on negotiated transactions in the mining sector. He regularly supports corporate development and operational teams in the acquisition, advancement and commercialization of mining projects. He frequently negotiates royalty and stream agreements, acquisition agreements, joint ventures, option agreements, drilling contracts and a range of supply arrangements on behalf of his mining clients. His practical insight into project development and operations allows him to guide clients through complex commercial and transactional issues with clarity and efficiency. Before joining McMillan, Andrew served as in-house legal counsel at one of the world’s leading gold mining companies, gaining valuable on-the-ground experience with major projects and global mining operations.
