Angus is an advocate concentrating on the resolution of commercial disputes. He is focused on civil appellate matters, general commercial arbitration and mediation and appears frequently before the Court of Appeal for British Columbia. He has also appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada and other Canadian appellate courts. A Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London (FCIArb) and an Accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, London (CEDR). Accepts arbitral appointments as arbitrator and as counsel. President of the Western Canada Commercial Arbitration Society (WCCAS). A member of the ICC Canada National Committee, a member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and a former director of the Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP) and ADR Institute of Canada, Inc. (ADRIC). Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia, since 1999. Other professional memberships include the CBA, ABA, IBA, Commercial Bar Association (COMBAR), and the Defence Research Institute. LLB (University of Toronto, 1993), LLM (University of Cambridge, 1998). Called to the British Columbia Bar in 1995 and admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1998. Appointed Queen's Counsel 2012.
