Aubin Calvert is litigation counsel at Hunter Litigation Chambers. She handles a wide range of trial, judicial review and appellate matters. Aubin’s practice is focused primarily on administrative, regulatory, and constitutional law. She also assists with commercial disputes, particularly those involving complex or novel points of law or cross-border elements. Aubin has expertise in conflict of laws, a subject she has taught for 6 years as an adjunct professor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. She has litigated a number of significant jurisdictional disputes in the British Columbia courts. Called to the bar in 2017, Aubin holds a PhD in political science from the University of British Columbia and served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Richard Wagner of the Supreme Court of Canada. She is a frequent contributor to continuing professional development programs and publications. Aubin is a member of the Supreme Court Advocacy Institute and a member of the board of the British Columbia Law Institute. She has been recognized by her peers in The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in administrative and public law and selected for the Benchmark Litigation 40 & Under and Future Star categories.
