Recent transactions include representing Dundeal Canada (GP) Inc.'s (a subsidiary of the Dream Office REIT) $105.6 million sale of a Toronto office tower to Infrastructure Ontario; Dream and a strategic joint venture partner's purchase of various properties located on Queen Street East from Blackstone Real Estate Services LLC; RioCan REIT's sale of Strada and a 436-suite rental community in Laval to CAPREIT; InnVest Hotels’ acquisition of several marquee hotel properties, including the Algonquin Resort St. Andrews by-the-Sea, Autograph Collection, the St. Regis Toronto, the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel and the Marriott Ottawa Hotel; and Oxford Properties Group in finalizing the hotel management agreement and other operating agreements for the Park Hyatt Toronto. On June 27, 2017, Leadon Investment Inc., as Borrowers’ Representative, and certain of its affiliates, as Borrowers, completed the financing of 22 hotel properties across Canada, for a total amount of approximately $716 million, comprised of a $649-million term credit and a $67-million renovation credit with Aareal Bank AG, as Administrative Agent thereto.
