Brenda Hollingsworth is a senior litigator, firm co-founder, and profession-wide leader with nearly 30 years of experience across personal injury, criminal defence, and administrative law. In 2005, she co-founded Auger Hollingsworth Accident & Injury Lawyers with her husband, Richard Auger. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and Ontario Court of Appeal, and brings a rare dual perspective as a former administrative tribunal decision-maker. Alongside an active litigation practice, she is a respected educator and speaker, teaching Civil Procedure at the University of Ottawa and presenting frequently for leading legal organizations. A committed leader within the profession, Brenda was elected Second Vice-President of the Ontario Bar Association in 2025 and will serve as President beginning in September 2027. Her leadership is marked by a sustained commitment to mentorship, excellence in advocacy, and advancing gender equity in the legal profession.
