Brian is a partner at Daoust Vukovich. He has extensive experience advising and negotiating on behalf of some of Canada’s largest and most active players in the real estate industry. His practice is comprised of: commercial leasing of retail, office, and industrial properties, including specialized areas such as mixed-use, medical, live/work, and commercial condominium; construction and design agreements, including bespoke master contracts, supplementary conditions to CCDC, OAA, and RAIC forms, and crane-swing/tie-back agreements; telecommunications agreements, including bulk purchase/point-of-presence agreements, cell tower leases, and rooftop antennae licenses; and ancillary property-related agreements, including property management agreements, EV charging station agreements, parking facility agreements, specialty signage agreements, and more. Brian received his law degree from Osgoode Hall, where he was awarded the J. Friedman Prize in Commercial Real Estate. Before law school, Brian obtained a BSc from the University of Alberta in physics and math with honours. Brian is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars including ICSC Canadian Law, NAIOP GTA, the OBA, and the LSO and a Co-Instructor of NAIOP GTA CREST Course: Legal Analysis of Lease Transactions.
