Candy Saga is an accomplished business lawyer with deep expertise in public-private partnerships (P3), infrastructure transactions and project finance. She has extensive experience acting as lead counsel to successful consortia on major infrastructure initiatives, including a residual treatment facility, a university art school construction project, and a commuter parkway and traffic bridge project. In addition to her P3 and project finance work, Candy brings significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings and structured finance. Her broad background allows her to navigate complex, multi-party transactions with a strong commercial perspective. Before joining McMillan, Candy served as senior North American counsel for Bilfinger Project Investments, providing legal leadership on large-scale infrastructure investments across the region.
On May 28, 2004, BC Ferries, operator of the second largest ferry system in the world, closed its initial public offering of $250 million principal amount of senior secured bonds and established its initial syndicated bank credit facility for $355 million.
