Carlos Martins is a Partner and Chair of the Aviation Practice Group at WeirFoulds LLP, where he leads a practice focused on complex regulatory, commercial, and liability litigation representing numerous airlines and online travel agents, including at the Supreme Court of Canada. He regularly advises on compliance and regulatory risks and on the legal aspects of day-to-day operations. Repeatedly recognized by leading legal directories, Carlos is regarded as a trusted advisor and a prominent voice in Canadian aviation law. He contributes extensively to the profession through teaching, writing, and thought leadership, including authoring Lexology’s 2026 In Depth Guide on Aviation Law in Canada and co authoring the aviation chapter of Bullen & Leake & Jacob’s Canadian Precedents of Pleadings, 2nd edition (Carswell), and two chapters of The Montreal Convention: A Commentary (ELGAR).
