Casey is one of Canada’s leading competition lawyers, with a practice covering merger control, cartel defense, and antitrust litigation. He brings an analytical approach to competition law issues that is unique in the Canadian market, having practiced with leading firms in Toronto, Washington, and London. He has been named one of the world’s top 40 competition lawyers under 40 (Global Competition Review, 2012), one of the Top 40 Under 40 lawyers in Canada (Lexpert, 2012) and is a two-time finalist for GCR’s worldwide Lawyer of the Year — Under 40 Award (2014, 2013). His Harvard Law School LLM thesis on competitor collaborations under the US Sherman Act was selected Runner-Up in the international Swope Antitrust Writing Competition.
