Catherine has considerable experience in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including large-scale acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and developments across a wide range of asset classes, including office towers, shopping centres, hotels, senior housing residences, and industrial properties, as well as commercial leases from simple projects to complex, mixed-use, multi-level developments, management and rehabilitation of environmentally impacted properties, mining law, and telecommunication work. Recognized for her expertise in the 2020 edition of The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory (Property Leasing), the 2021 edition (and since 2020) of Best Lawyers in Canada (Real Estate Law), the 2015/2016 Lexpert®/Special Edition — Global Mining, and the 2013 edition of the Lexpert® Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-Border Corporate Lawyers in Canada (Corporate Lawyer to Watch).
