Chad has practised insurance and personal injury law for 18 years and brings a unique perspective to the team at MacGillivray Law. Having spent years as an insurance defence litigator—representing over 20 major insurers and serving as Senior Counsel to Canada's largest property and casualty insurer—Chad now uses that insider knowledge to help injured people receive fair treatment from insurance companies and their lawyers. His extensive experience defending complex claims involving chronic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, orthopedic polytrauma, psychiatric injuries, and traumatic brain injuries gives him invaluable insight into how insurers evaluate and defend cases. He understands their strategies, their decision-making processes, and what it takes to hold them accountable. In 2020, Chad joined MacGillivray Law as a Partner, drawn by the firm's passion, commitment to clients, and willingness to advocate for fair results. "Excellence has always been important to me.
