Charles Chevrette is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial group in our Montreal office. With nearly thirty years of experience, Charles has a particular expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. Over the years, Charles has been called upon to advise a wide range of private and public institutional investors on mergers and acquisitions or corporate financing and acquisitions, particularly in the technology sectors and in cross-border transactions. He represents not only investment firms in their transactions in Quebec and Canada and in their foreign investments, but also foreign companies investing in Canada, as well as emerging companies. Charles’ expertise is also in demand in the areas of agribusiness, financial services and government relations. A member of the Bar since 1993, Mr. Chevrette regularly publishes articles on Quebec and Canadian commercial law.
