Assists public companies with their corporate governance and disclosure obligations. Recently represented: GTCR LLC in its C$2.2 billion acquisition of dentalcorp Holdings; Onex Corporation in its acquisition of WestJet Airlines, their acquisition of Sunwing Vacations, and Onex's sale of minority stakes in WestJet to Delta Air Lines and Korean Air; Ryan, LLC in its acquisition of Altus Group’s property tax business; Kilmer Sports Ventures in its acquisition of the “Toronto Tempo”; and Rogers Communications in its $26 billion acquisition of Shaw Communications. Guest lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and frequent speaker and author on corporate and securities law issues.
