Christine’s (Chris) practice encompasses a broad range of complex commercial and civil litigation matters, and she acts as counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants in the finance, energy and health sectors. She has particular expertise in litigating contract and economic disputes, and advising on and managing defamation matters. She appears before all levels of court on a wide variety of litigation matters, and before administrative tribunals, including as Presenting Counsel for the Ontario Judicial Council. She recently acted as counsel to the Honourable Louise Arbour, in Her Honour’s review into the Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence in response to reports of harassment and sexual misconduct within Canada’s military. Chris clerked for the Ontario Court of Appeal, and obtained her LLB from Dalhousie University, and her M.Sc. and B.Sc (Hon) from Queen's University.
