Christopher Achkar is the Founder and Managing Partner of Achkar Law, which he established in July 2016. Since then, he has grown the firm into a respected and expanding practice serving clients across Ontario and British Columbia. He is licensed in both provinces. Christopher represents employees, employers, and businesses in high-stakes employment, human rights, and commercial disputes. His practice includes wrongful dismissal, workplace investigations, human rights applications, employment agreements, shareholder conflicts, contract litigation, and construction disputes. He appears before all levels of court and key tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. He has also gained experience at the Federal Court of Appeal. Born in Lebanon, Christopher is committed to advancing access to justice. He serves on the Board of Directors of Beyond Reasonable Doubt Community, Blue Door, and the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre. He speaks English, French, and Arabic.
