Chris is a member of the corporate and commercial team at Robertson Stromberg LLP. His practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial lending, commercial real estate, legal due diligence, limited partnerships, non-profit entities, and corporate governance. Chris is one of the firm's transactional lawyers, collaborating with other lawyers to efficiently complete transactions. He is often called upon to act as Saskatchewan counsel in multi-jurisdictional transactions. Chris represented the owner of a grain terminal whose shares were purchased under a Plan of Arrangement of The Business Corporations Act. He also acted as lead Saskatchewan counsel on two power plant projects built in the province. Chris is often consulted on wind energy projects in Saskatchewan. He is currently a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law. Chris was a faculty member at the College of Law from 1998 to 2000 where he taught Contracts Law and Business Organizations. Prior to that, he practised corporate commercial litigation in Toronto. Chris received his BA (1st Class Honours) from the University of Victoria, MA (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario, LLB from Osgoode Hall, and LLM from the University of Toronto.
