Cynthia moved her wrongful death and personal injury practice from a national law firm in 2021, drawn by the strength of Weir Bowen’s medical negligence group. She has since expanded her practice to include historical sexual assault claims and is a founding member and Vice President of the national Sexual Abuse Lawyers Alliance. Cynthia takes a respectful, trauma-informed approach to every case, guiding clients through complex legal processes with clarity and care. Her practice includes medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, unsafe premises, defective products, and institutional negligence. A former broadcast journalist, Cynthia brings strong investigative and advocacy skills to her work. She developed the nationally accredited Legal Media Relations program for the Canadian Bar Association and appears monthly on Ask the Lawyer, broadcast across Alberta on the Windspeaker Radio Network. Raised in Central Alberta, Cynthia believes in plain language and straight talk. She ensures clients feel informed and prepared at every stage of their case. Cynthia has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for Personal Injury Litigation since 2021. Outside of practice, she is a proud parent to two children and two spoiled doodle dogs.
