Danielle’s practice includes shareholder and securities disputes, insolvency and restructuring matters, oppression claims, class actions, injunctions, civil fraud, and defamation. With a track record of prosecuting and defending claims at trial and on appeal, Danielle has appeared before all levels of court as well as arbitrations and administrative tribunals. She also has particular expertise in Commercial List proceedings. Danielle has been named as Lexpert’s Rising Star and recognized by Benchmark Litigation as a Future Star and on the 40 and Under List. She has also been ranked by leading legal directories including the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and the Best Lawyers in Canada. Danielle is a regular speaker on civil procedure and anti-SLAPP legislation and has taught at Osgoode Hall law school. She is active in pro bono efforts and frequently engages with organizations including Pro Bono Ontario, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and Downtown Legal Services.
