Partner and lead of the Business Law Group in the firm’s Vancouver office and co-chair of the firm’s National Life Sciences Group. Practice focuses on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Acts for private and public corporations, investment dealers, and investment funds. Recent experience includes cross-border and domestic mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, public and private equity and debt financings, takeover bids, proxy contests, joint ventures, joint development and commercialization arrangements, and advising boards of directors and their committees regarding transaction and governance matters. Has lectured on mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, disclosure, and public company matters. Admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2001.
