David Mckenzie is a partner at Jenkins Marzban Logan LLP who practises construction-related litigation and solicitor work. He represents developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers as legal counsel in all aspects of construction, from procurement to builders liens. David has been counsel on a multitude of complex construction, development, and commercial proceedings and has drafted and negotiated numerous construction contracts and procurement packages. He is pragmatic and seeks business-oriented resolution of disputes. David has frequently chaired and lectured at construction law conferences hosted by both CLEBC and PBLI. He is an author and editor of the BC Builders Lien Practice Manual, a contributing author of the BC Real Estate Development Practice Manual, and was a committee member and chair of the British Columbia Law Institute’s Builders Lien Act Reform Project Committee.
