David McKnight is a Partner, and the leader of the firm’s Police Law, Administrative Law, Defamation + Publication Risk Management practice groups and is a member of the Insurance practice group. David’s practice focuses on police liability, Police Act investigations and complaints, regulatory matters, and real estate and insurance defence. David also provides legal advice relating to police employment matters, grievances, human rights complaints, public inquiries and inquests. His practice includes construction litigation, fire loss, police claims, municipal, personal injury, property damage, and defamation. David has extensive experience in both the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
