His practice focuses primarily on natural resourses regulatory law, environmental law, Indigenous community relations, water resource management, cannabis regulation, public utilities regulation, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Formerly counsel to the NEB, he offers extensive experience with the federal and provincial regulatory approval process with an emphasis on natural resource projects, environmental reviews, and Aboriginal rights issues. He represents clients before administrative tribunals and the courts. He advises resource industry clients, infrastructure developers, municipalities, First Nations, and several industry associations in the energy, natural resource, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. He participated in many major environmental reviews, federal and provincial, on behalf of participants, and in other instances, on behalf of the project review panel.
