Divya is a partner in the entertainment, media and sports law group, and practices entertainment, corporate, commercial, financial services and intellectual property law. She represents film, television and commercial producers, institutional lenders, private financiers, distributors, media and technology start-ups, influencers, content creators, talent, athletes, music artists, talent agencies, management companies, hospitality groups and live entertainment companies. Divya has been a practicing entertainment lawyer since 2014. She has also executive produced various productions, and accordingly, her legal advice to her entertainment clients is informed by industry knowledge, business strategy and pragmatism. Divya is bilingual and practices law in English and French, and is particularly passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry and has sat on various boards and advisory committees. In 2025 She was named one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers 40 and Under for her excellence in legal practice, and her contributions to her clients, colleagues, and the profession as a whole.
