Partner in the Labour & Employment group. Appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as before the British Columbia Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, and grievance arbitration panels. Extensive experience drafting employment contracts, restrictive covenant agreements and other employment-related documents, as well as advising on all manner of workplace legal issues including terminations, disability, privacy, and the application and interpretation of collective agreements. Frequently publishes and presents at industry events on labour, employment, and human rights legal issues, including restrictive covenants, best practices in terminating employment, aggravated and punitive damages, the duty to accommodate, and workplace privacy. Past executive member and Chair of the Canadian Bar Association BC Employment Law section, and past executive member of the CBA national employment law section. Served as judicial law clerk with the Supreme Court of British Columbia and admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2002.
