Practice is transaction based, involving all aspects of corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Also assists companies with their corporate governance and continuous disclosure obligations. Recent mandates include: MDA Ltd.’s initial public offering; Northern Private Capital’s $1 billion acquisition of MDA; Clairvest Group Inc. and its managed funds’ investment in Brunswick Bierworks; and Clairvest Group with the closing of its sixth private equity fund at US$850 million.
