Partner and co-head of a business law group at Goodmans. Practice is transaction based, involving all aspects of corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Recent mandates include representing Michael Andlauer and his partners on the acquisition of the Ottawa Senators hockey club; Clairvest Group with the closing of its seventh private equity fund at US$1.2 billion; MDA Ltd.’s initial public offering; and Northern Private Capital’s $1 billion acquisition of MDA. Honoured in 2022 as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40, and has been recognized by IFLR1000 as a Rising Star Partner and by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. Also a member of the board of directors of Dress for Success Toronto, a not-for-profit corporation.
