Eric Aitken is a partner at Dennis Dawson James Aitken LLP with a focus on commercial litigation. He acts regularly as counsel in complex corporate-commercial matters, including contractual claims, shareholder actions, property disputes, fraud claims, estate matters and professional negligence cases. Eric also acts for clients in administrative and regulatory matters and has acted in proceedings before the Securities Commission, Health Professions Review Board, and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, among others. Eric appears regularly in the British Columbia Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. Eric clerked at the British Columbia Supreme Court where he clerked for six justices. Eric obtained his juris doctor from the University of Victoria and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2015. Eric is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Vancouver Bar Association.
